Earlier this month or maybe end of December. I received my first issue of the Paper Craft Magazine. I love it! I found the part where it talks about how Gray is the new black fascinating. Why? well because I love those charcoal gray tones. Our living room is grounded on those tones with a little splash of red. Anyways, I have been reading a lot of the Moxie Fab World, in other blogs I visit, this may not be new but I am to this world of making cards. I went to check out the Moxie Fab World where among other challenges I saw The Gray is the New Black challenge from the magazine. This was only last night. I had to give this challenge a try even thought I only had a bit of time since it ends today. I didn't think I had anything gray to work with, but as I looked trough my paper I found this ONE sheet of gray cards stock and I remember a little bit ago I had gotten some 4" by 36" strips of fabrics in different colors to make fabric flowers to use as accessories, there i found some gray, which made made me pretty happy. I decided to give it a world and make this card. I made the lines with Martha Stewart scoring board and added some gray beads I found in my crafting drawer. The sentiment is from the wplus9 Ever After stamp set. Hope that you guys like it.
love the look of the torn strips of fabric. a beautiful card!!
