While making another card, I was inspired to create this card. In a way it was mainly kind of practice to see how a little vision came out on paper along with a technique from Maile Belles. I have loved how Maile Belles uses dies to emboss in some of her creations, like in this one. In my quick search I didn't find a tutorial of how to achieve this cool embossing effect using dies without cutting, so I played around with my cuttlebug and figured it out. Yay! I am so happy with how this card turned out that I thought it was worth submitting in the Gallery Idol 2011 Competition.
