I saw this and immediately knew that I wanted to make some of them for my kids. Fridays around here is treat day! and i thought that not only would they love this cute owls but would also love to find a little surprise inside of them, then I saw this Beautiful Borders Challenge over at Moxi Fab World and I thought this two ideas might be fun to put together and fun it was even if I waited to the last minute to make them. It actually feels pretty good to cross off things i want make of my wish list.
I use my silhouette to cut the pillow box, the digital border that I used to layer up the owls torso and the eyes but I did use a regular single note book punch (not sure if that is what they are call) for the eyes sparkle, cut the arms by hand and used a balloon punch for the feet and beak after cutting off the button end of the balloon cut outs.
I tried shrinking the same digital border for this second owl.
Have a great Monday and thanks for stopping by!
cute, cute, cute! I wish I had a silhouette!
