I finally got my hands on some more Lawn Fawn stamps. Yay! The Lawnscaping Challenge #16 was the perfect excuse for getting inky with it right away. This cute little dog makes me think of my little dog Lolly that my hubby was so sweet to gift me for Christmas a few years back. She is a sweetheart I tell you. She sure adds a little extra sweetness to my day.
In making this card I got to experiment coloring with Prisma colors and mineral spirits, which I used to color the collar and nose. I was not brave enough to try coloring the the dog the same. I used chalk for the dog and lastly created the shadow by water coloring with prima water color pencils.
Here is a recent picture of Lolly, poor thing. She looks a little worried because of what my kids might be thinking of doing next with her. Fortunately for her I came to her rescue. After I took the photo and took all the jewels off, she enjoyed a nice little dog nap. She is a Maltese in case you are wondering. Thanks for stopping by.

How cute is this card. The coloring on your little doggie is FABULOUS! FABULOUS I say! I am so glad you played along with us at Lawnscaping!!!! And the pic of your cutie pie doggie all jeweled up is hysterical!!!!!
