Birthday Wishes

I hope you guys had a great weekend. I know is crazy to say that on a Wednesday but my weekend ended yesterday. My sweet husband took a couple of days off of work to celebrate my birthday. I turned 33, which is just crazy. I don't feel a day over twenty five. I am not sure that I am a big fan of the number 33. I think 32 sounds better but I am told 33 is a lucky number. We shall see about that.  We had an awesome four day weekend, the best part was just having my hubby home spoiling me.

Now lets talk about my card. ColorQ is turning 2. Yay! and  to celebrate for Color Q Challenge # 104 we get to CASE previous Queens creations using this colorQ combination below. I picked Queen Sylvana from challenge # 56. Since her creation was a small gift box, I decided to go with something small too and created a very simple mini card with a matching envelope. I love tucking little cards with little envelopes in gifts right beneath a big bow or some fun embellishment.  I am also submitting this to Young Crafters Unite Challenge # 2: Envelope to Match.  This challenge gave me the little kick I needed to get making some envelopes. I have wanted to try making some small envelopes for mini cards like this one for a while, in making this envelope i also finally made an envelope for this other card because it just doesn't fit in A2 envelope. I made both my envelopes using this idea, it was pretty easy to do with the help of my scoring Score Board. I used  my card(s) as a guide for the size. Thanks for stopping by
