This is the current Embellish Color Trends Challenge: Stripes. It's all about using stripes and this color combination in your project. Don't you love it? it's gorgeous.
I had seen this before this challenge came to light. I saved the link because I wanted to recreate that idea in a card. When I saw this challenge I knew just were i wanted to go with it. Well, almost. I had to choose a sentiment and where I was going to place it. It's always such a risky proposition to me, when I have to stamp sentiments right on my almost finish projects like in this one. Isn't it to you?I almost didn't want to look but when I pulled up the stamp and there it was a perfectly stamped sentiment and a finished card. Today I get to celebrate this small victory. Yay! maybe I will get to celebrate getting all the laundry done today too.
What a great idea! LOVE the card...and yes, it does make me nervous when I have to stamp the sentiment and the card is almost done! :)
