You Make My Heart Smile
Made this card for CAS-sual Fridays Challenge # 23, which was inspire by Julie Ranae. You can click on the link for more details. I have missed participating in the CAS-ual Fridays challenges, this challenge touched my heart so I had to squeeze some time for it.
The card design is a little idea that I had. I wanted to bring into this card a photography like concept, where the background is a little faded while the subject is in focus. I used scor tape to adhere the cut up sentiment onto vellum and then adhered the square piece of vellum to the card base with scor tape that i placed only behind the words, trust that vellum is not going any where. I then inked up only Little Miss Mia's eyes and mouth, stamped it on the heart to create the smiling heart, then applied some VersaMark Frost to give the heart a settle touch of sparkle but I am afraid that you can't really appreciate the sparkles in the photo.
Best wishes to you Julie, I hope that Operation Julie's Smile is a big success.
