Hello! I am popping in for a very quick post. I made this card above to participate in two challenges that I really wanted to take part in. Virginia's View Challenge # 1 over at Lily Pad and The Die Cutting Challenge over at Moxi Fab World. I used the house die from the Loves Lives Here die set from PTI to cut out the little hearts from card board, adhered them unto yet another piece of card board and run it through my cuttlebug to create the embossed hearts you see above. I then cut out a few more hearts and adhered them right on top of a few of the embossed hearts. Below you can see what my new homemade embossing plate looks like. I am really loving how this turned out. Hope you like it too. I am off to the park. Until next time.
Sentiment is from Wplus9 (Pile It On) stamp set.
Another cool card, I love the softness in this one. And glad to hear that you didn't loose any rice kernels too!
ReplyDeleteWow--what a cool trick! :)
