I don't always get to join in on the fun over at Papertrey's Blog hops, but this Blog Hop is one that I didn't want to miss out on. Today is Papertrey's October Blog Hop Challenge and is all about tags, tags sets of at least five tags to be exact. Head over for more details.
These are the tags that I came up with. I used their Layerz Mat Stack 5 to for my tags, I just punched a hole and I had a tag.
I then distressed the edges, heat embossed using the Mehndi Mini Medallion stamp, applied a holographic embossing powder by Ranger. Love this embossing powder...its so pretty and glittery. I stamped Merry Christmas I few times but only inked it up the first time I stamped it on each tag and finished of by adding some ribbon. Look below, I made this tag in blue...so pretty, it probably does look beautiful in any color but since I was going for something kind of neutral that would look nice with any wrapping paper, I went ahead and made a set on the ones you see above in more of a golden sugar cookie color.
I almost forgot to mention that I attached two tags together to have a place to write a little note or the tradional To: and From:
The tags are only held together by the ribbon which allows for a little movement, it also gives a little dimension which I liked from the moment I tried it while putting this tags together.
Thanks for stopping by!
Stamps used are from Mehndi Mini Medallions, Merry Little Christmas and faux Ribbon stamp sets
