Wish Big

Yeah! I got some time to play along in this Seize The Sketch Challenge # 7. For my card I decided to create a negative space using their sketch below. I had been wanting to try making a card like this for a while and this seem like the perfect challenge to put that idea in paper.

It was easy peasy with the help of my Silhouette. I think the Wish design was a freebie a while back over at their Silhouette Store and I just added the BIG to it. I sanded the edges and liked how it rubbed of a little of the surface in the green pattern paper so I sanded a bit off the green in the sentiment too, the sanding left the edges very smooth and just reveal a little of the white beneath the green.
I just used one of those blocks that one uses to buff/sand fingernails. I keep one with my crafting tools because sometimes I use it to smooth edges in my cards...you know how at times you may cut your cardstock and  end up with a bit of a rough edge. Well, that buffing/ sanding fingernail block helps me  to smooth it out.
