It's all about silhouettes today. I just adore all these silhouettes, They can all be found and purchased at the silhouette online store.
These last two I was inspired to create after I had a friend over who has a son off to college, she sends him a package for each Holiday. She quickly noticed the cards that I had laying around in our den and asked " do you have any Easter Boy cards?"and I realized that I did not! I showed her this silhouette above that I already owned and she loved it, so I made two cards with it, one for her and one for me. Note to self: need to make more masculine cards.
The flower bush stamp is a two stamp image. I stamped the stems over and over, sometimes re-inking and others not, I wanted the bunny to have a ground to sit on so I turned the stems image upside down and stamped over and over just inking up those tips of the stems that would give me the look I was going after. Then I stamped the flowers to the stems. Since I wanted this card to be for a boy. I wanted flowers because it is Spring after all but I didn't want them to draw very much attention.
The sentiment was a one dollar find from Michael's and the bush of flowers stamp is from Papertrey Ink : Iconic Images stamp set.
Thanks for stopping by.
