Life, school and Scouts has kept me a little busy and away from my paper crafting hobby but I managed to carved a little time this morning to make a card for a friend. I was inspired to create this after seeing this beautiful color combination over at ColourQ Challenge # 243.
My Bermuda Bay looks more like a blue in the photo but it is that greenish color with a hint of blue in it, oh well! This color combination looks really pretty in the inspiration pieces by the designer team so head over and check them out. I have been dying to play with some water coloring techniques so doing just a little water coloring to create kind of like a surface to the jar satisfied my little soul just a tad. I also like how the edges of the flowers are accentuated just a little bit. I achieved this look by re-inking just around the edge of the stamp and stamping the flower once again.
