This card was inspired by the current Runway Inspired Challenge # 65. Their inspiration made me think of lace. I love lace and really liked the idea of somewhat replicating lace with paper. You may not be able to appreciate it in the photos but I gave a shot to inking up an embossing cuttlebug folder to get this letter press kind of effect. Even though at first I thought that I had messed up, as it sat on my work surface I grew to liking it more and more, this happens to me often. Sometimes you have to walk away and come back with a fresh set of eyes. This butterfly I actually made for my past MIM Papertrey entry a few posts back, this butterfly however was much too big for that project but I thought that it was perfect for this one.
