One thing led to another and I ended up with this rustic looking
card. At least I think it has a rustic feeling to it.
I even carried the
rustic feeling into the photographing of this card. I photographed the card over my
grandmother's weaving frame. I prepped it months ago to get start a weaving project
but that if as far as I got. Thinking of my grandmother almost brings tears to
my eyes. I miss her.
I
started by inking up the front card panel with distress inks by Jim Holtz (faded
jeans and vintage photo) using a mini ink blending tool, I then sprinkled a little water one it, let the water drops sit for a second
and absorbed the rest of the water with a paper towel. Once it dried, I moved on to the
stamping part...yay! I stamped the pumpkin image first and then that gorgeous
sentiment and finished it off by adding the little clear droplets from Pretty Pink Posh. Isn't that sentiment gorgeous?! The set comes with three beautiful sentiments.
Stamps are from
Wplus9 Design Studio (pretty patches: pumpkin and grateful Greetings)
That is it for today my crafting friends, thanks so much for stopping by.
